Wisconsin Criminal History Record Checks
To Obtain criminal history records, a Criminal History Record request form must be completed and mailed to:

KENOSHA POLICE & SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT RECORDS
Requests for open records can be made to Kenosha Joint Services at the Public Safety Building Information Counter, via the telephone or US mail. To facilitate your request, complete the Request for Public Records form available from this website or at the PSB.
Typical requests are for accident reports, incident reports, name summary lists and record checks, photographs, video tapes and audio tapes. There is a charge for copies of these records:

Payment is due upon the receipt of the records. Fees in excess of $5.00 will require prepayment.
Questions regarding the release of accident reports, incident reports, name summary lists and record checks should be made to the Records Bureau at (262)605-5015. The Records Bureau is a 24/7 operation.
Questions regarding the release of audio cassettes should be made to Communications at (262)605-5008, Monday through Friday, 7:30 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.
Questions regarding fingerprinting and the release of video tapes, photographs and polaroids should be made to the ID Bureau at (262)605-5037, Monday through Friday, 7:30 A.M to 4:00 P.M.
Most requests will receive a reply within five working days.
Requests can be faxed to (262)653-6909. Records will not be returned via the fax.
